ABOUT DO AS INFINITY

Formed in 1999. Even before their debut, Do as Infinity implemented countless street lives mainly at the live holy ground of Shibuya Hachiko.
Do as Infinity's street live is now a legend.
Their albums became #1 in Oricon Chart and the best album reached a million, proving that they were in the mainstream of the Japanese scene.
In September 2005, due to the difference of the member's musical direction and the intensification of each solo works, Do as Infinity decides to disband.
Executing a last live at the Nippon Budokan in November 25, 2005, Do as Infinity concluded the 6 years of their history.
However, the chance meeting of the members and staffs in spring of 2008 leads to reuniting.
At the a-nation' 08, Do as Infinity performed one song as a secret appearance, and announced their reunion.
From September 29, 2008, a new chapter of the Do as Infinity legend begins.Their name is sometimes abbreviated as D.A.I., revealing that Do As Infinity was named after the band's guitarist and composer, Dai Nagao. With the release of their A-side compilation album Do the A side, Do As Infinity disbanded on September 29, 2005, after a career which spanned six years, six albums, twenty singles, seven compilation albums and eight live DVDs. The band reformed on September 29, 2008, and reportedly will have their first new release in spring 2009.

Infinity Ichi

.Now, over half a year since that announcement, Do As Infinity will be giving us their latest single since 2005's TAO. The single, titled ∞1 (read as "Infinity Ichi"), will be released on 2009.6.17. The single will include four songs, including Timeless, the ending theme to the TV Tokyo program Gekisou! GT.
